Here at Saint John, we strive to teach and bring the kids up in the Faith to prepare them for the struggles of the real world. We believe that it is essential for them to not only learn the principles and values of our beliefs but also to understand how to apply these teachings in their daily lives. Through a variety of engaging activities, spiritual guidance, and community involvement, we aim to foster a strong sense of belonging and purpose in each child. By nurturing their spiritual growth and encouraging critical thinking, we equip them with the tools necessary to navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and become compassionate leaders in their communities. Ultimately, we want to instill a lifelong appreciation for their faith, helping them to thrive in both spiritual and worldly pursuits.

VBS

Here at St John, we strive to teach kids not only the word and its meaning, but also to instill in them a deep understanding of its relevance in their lives. We do this in various engaging ways, such as through our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program, where children gather to learn in a fun and interactive environment. This year, they truly had a blast at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca, an experience filled with adventure and camaraderie, where they had the opportunity to hear God’s word and promises while making lifelong memories with friends and participating in exciting activities. Our aim is to make the learning process enjoyable and meaningful, ensuring that every child feels the joy and love that comes from understanding and sharing God’s message.

Higher Things Conference

St John Luther Church Youth Group went to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for an unforgettable retreat filled with spiritual growth and bonding experiences. They had a great time learning God’s word through engaging discussions and meaningful activities, all designed to deepen their faith and strengthen their community. Under the uplifting theme of “All Things New,” the group explored various workshops that sparked creativity and fostered connection among participants. From outdoor adventures to team-building exercises, each moment was infused with joy and laughter. Sunday School!

Sunday School has kicked off for another year, and the excitement in the air is palpable! The kids are eager to read and learn about the many wonderful ways God is a great gift giver, revealing His love and generosity through both the big and small blessings in our lives. They look forward to engaging in various activities that will not only deepen their understanding of these teachings but also foster friendships and create cherished memories together. Each week promises new lessons and adventures, filling their hearts with joy and gratitude as they explore the wonders of faith and community!
